ITINERARY
Check in Dublin Connolly station 11.15 at platform 4 for train to Arklow. We
head due south along the coast enjoying the magnificent seascapes for much of
the way as far as Wicklow town, where we swing inland to the mountains and
experience the "Garden of Ireland" (as county Wicklow is known) at its best.
On arrival at Arklow we join our coach for a journey through the
Vale of Avoca, taking in the lovely village of Avoca, or Ballykissangel. Here
we can visit the Avoca hand weavers, see the weavers at work and still have
plenty of time for a pint in Fitzgeralds Bar. We continue on to visit the
ancient monastic settlement at stunning Glendalough then return by train to
Dublin Connolly station at approx 18.30.
All admissions, transfers and tours are included in the price.
For student discount a current ISIC (International Student Identity Card) must be presented at check-in, otherwise adult fare applies.
