Established in 1988, Dublin Bus Sightseeing Tours (now called DoDublin) is a part of Dublin Bus, the main public transport company in Dublin. It is a subsidiary of Córas Iompair Éireann which is owned by the Irish Government.
The first sightseeing tour in 1988 and was called the Grand Dublin Tour. It consisted of 1 bus which took passengers on a 3 hour tour around Dublin City and its surrounds and departed just twice a day. As popularity grew the fleet grew into 23 open top buses, 3 coastal tour buses, 2 ghost buses.
The City Tour buses now depart every 15 minutes on a loop around the city taking in all the major attractions. We also operate a pre-recorded multilingual tour in the following languages; Irish, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Japanese and Chinese. With the exception of the multilingual tour all our guides provide a live commentary, are trained by Fáilte Ireland and will show you the city and it's surrounds as only a native can.
The Coastal tours operate daily visiting Malahide Castle & Howth to the North of Dublin City, and Glendalough & Powerscourt Gardens to the South. The Ghostbus operates nightly with two tours on Friday and Saturday night.
Our most popular tour is the hop on hop off tour. It operates two routes, stops at 33 of Dublin's major attractions and is the best way to view all that Dublin City Centre has to offer.
